Deconstructed Dumplings

Ingredients

8 ozs Udon Noodles (dried)

1 tbsp Sesame Oil

3 Garlic (clove, finely chopped)

1 tbsp Ginger (finely chopped)

4 stalks Green Onion (cut thinly on bias, plus more for garnish)

1 lb Lean Ground Pork

6 1/3 ozs Shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails removed, chopped)

1 1/2 tsps Chinese Five Spice

3 tbsps Tamari
-
4 cups Napa Cabbage (thinly sliced)
Directions
- Cook the noodles al dente according to the package directions and set aside.
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the oil, garlic, ginger, and green onions. Cook, stirring, until the green onions are tender, about one minute.
- Add the pork and shrimp, breaking up the pork as it cooks, for three minutes. Add the Chinese five spice and the tamari and cook for one more minute, stirring to combine.
- Add the cabbage, cover, and steam until tender, about five minutes. Mix in the cooked noodles and stir until well coated.
